Greetings!

Recently I have changed my username from "Arathar" to "Jinbae".

Now, this sudden and drastic change will bring up some questions so here you go:

Q: Why did you change your username?
A: "Arathar" was a name I thought of when I was around the age of 13-14. It was also the name of my character in the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft back when I used to play it. I only used the name because one of my WoW friends had a deviantArt account and naming myself "Arathar" would have been easier for him to identify me. Thus, it really had no significant connection to me as an artist and I've been wanting to change it ever since.
By changing my username, I feel like it will help me 'start over' here on deviantArt. With a fresh start, I hope to bring higher quality artworks at a faster pace and be more involved in the online art community.
In conclusion, I have gone through an evolution in life haha~

Q: What does "Jinbae" mean and how do you pronounce it?
A: The 'Jin' comes from my name, and the 'Bae' means 'pear' in Korean, and I like pears...
The pronunciation can get a little tricky; the 'Jin' is pronounced like the 'gin' in 'cotton gin' while the 'Bae' is pronounced like 'bay'.

Q: Why "Jinbae"?
A: Well actually I think I came up with like, 25 different usernames,
but most of them were already taken, mostly by dead accounts (The ones that have been around for like, 8 years and have 6 pageviews).
Thus, I tried Jinbae and saw that no one had taken it yet so I jumped at the opportunity haha...
I was actually going to go with "Jinsa" but after a quick google search, it turned out that "JINSA" was actually an abbreviation for "Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs".
So I definitely didn't want people mistaking those two...
